Vegas Hosts its Biggest Show of 2021!
Las Vegas welcomed over 100,000 people last week when SEMA and AAPEX ran concurrently at the Las Vegas Convention Center and Venetian Expo. That’s right, 100,000 people. Hotels were busy, restaurants were crowded, and the aisles at both shows were full of attendees and exhibitors conducting business. Reports coming in from both show organizers indicate that the shows were a success for all that participated, not just in terms of the volume of people that arrived but the quality of meetings and business that took place. Vegas is now setting its sights on the month of January, when CES and SHOT Show highlight the trade show calendar. — Jeff Pressman, ConvExx
Nonstop Flights from Europe Return to Las Vegas
As international borders open into the United States, Las Vegas is happy to welcome international visitors. Nonstop service from London Heathrow began this week, with additional airlines adding routes on November 15. Nonstop service from Amsterdam will return on December 7. To date, the SHOT Show has seen international buyer registrations from 74 countries. — Lindsay Schaeffer, ConvExx
