When’s My Target Time?
We know you are asking this question, and we are doing our best to give every exhibitor as much time as they need to build their booth. However, this requires significant coordination not just with Freeman and evaluating our floorplan, but the customers using the buildings before us. This coming January is one of those years in which we get the space later than normal, due to CES (the largest annual show that overtakes Las Vegas) taking place Thursday to Sunday. They are traditionally Tuesday to Friday like us, but due to when New Year’s occurs, and their having to vacate the building before we move in, they are forced into a date pattern that is not opportune for them but also pushes us back about 24-36 hours from when we typically get in. With that being said, we are working closely with Freeman to minimize the impact of this change to our schedule and that is through numerous conversations and analysis with multiple parties. We expect target times to be released in the coming month, but please rest assured that we are doing everything possible on your behalf. — Jeff Pressman, ConvExx

NSSF continues its SHOT Show Exhibitor Academy webinar series on August 10 at 2 p.m. Eastern with, “Boost Your Booth Traffic at SHOT Show with the Right Attractions.” There are many forms of attractions you can utilize to generate quality booth traffic and enhance the attendee experience in your booth at the 2023 SHOT Show. However, without the right strategy, your investment could be wasted, or worse—attract the wrong visitors, overwhelm your staffers, and ruin your reputation. Robin Davis joins us to help you identify several different types of attractions (swag is not your only option), list the three big criteria that will help you determine which attractions are right for you (if any), and review some key actions you can take to avoid “doing more harm than good” with your attractions. Request Your Meeting Rooms Now
If you need a separate meeting room outside your booth, there are rooms available in a variety of sizes, but inventory is limited at both the Venetian and Caesars Forum. Meeting rooms are available on a first come, first served basis. Full day or half day times are available, with half days being7 a.m. to noon or 12:30 to 6 p.m. Evening rentals are available for receptions. Book Your Sub-Block Now Before Rates Increase
If you traditionally book your block of staff rooms at the Venetian or Palazzo, please do so as soon as possible as rates will be increasing in the coming months.
