If you’ve seen how packed the NEXT row of exhibitors has been the past several years on the second floor of the Venetian by the NSSF Member Lounge and Press Room, you know there’s no shortage of interest in having more new exhibitors present at SHOT Show. There’s also no shortage of potential exhibitors waiting for an opportunity to get in.
Finding space for new exhibitors has been one of our biggest challenges over the years, and while we’re working on helping those on our waitlist to gain entry into the marketplace with our new show spaces first at the MGM in 2020 and then at Caesar’s Forum in 2021, we still wanted to find a way to introduce as many of those manufacturers as we could to the show this year. The solution: Pop-Up Preview.
Modeled after the flash-retail fashion and art shop idea that has proven successful to so many entrepreneurs who don’t want or need a full-time brick-and-mortar presence, our Pop-Up Preview allows us to introduce hundreds of manufacturers to the retailers, ranges, distributors, marketing professionals and outdoor media members attending the show. And just like a pop-up couture shop, our Pop-Up Preview is designed to be here today — Wednesday, Jan. 23, to be exact — and gone tomorrow.
Make room in your planners now to spend some of your SHOT Show Wednesday in the Palazzo Ballroom on the fifth floor of the Venetian (the same space occupied by the Supplier Showcase exhibitors Monday and Tuesday). The manufacturer focus will be on those with products that complement the shooting sports and hunting, including the latest, most in-demand clothing, footwear, cameras, tents and other gear today’s outdoors enthusiasts are seeking. If you’re a retailer looking to diversify your inventory and stand apart from your competition, or a media member seeking the next big trend to talk about, Pop-Up Preview should be at the top of your must-see list.
